The Ring Nebula

Taken using my S50 telescope. The Ring Nebula is a planetary nebula in the northern constellation of Lyra. A planetary nebula is formed when a star, during the last stages of its evolution before becoming a white dwarf, expels a vast luminous envelope of ionized gas into the surrounding interstellar space.

The Eagle Nebula

Taken from my S50. The Eagle Nebula is a diffuse emission nebula. It is a young open cluster of stars in the constellation of Serpens.
